La Llorona Weeps: Traumatic grief, sandplay and neural integration

This workshop will explore the legend of La Llorona, the weeping woman through storytelling, music, art making, and a case study.

Drawing from the work of prominent neuroscientists and original research, Dr. Freedle will also review the effects of trauma on the brain and explain how sandplay therapy facilitates neural integration and transformative healing in the wake of traumatic grief.
