Sandplay Foundations on Kauaʻi
YWCA of Kauaʻi
March 8-9, 2025 in-person
This program, Kauai Sandplay Intro 2025 sponsored by the Sandplay Therapists of Hawaiʻi (STH) and the Kauaʻi YWCA offers therapists an opportunity to develop practical skills for utilizing Sandplay Therapy (founded by Dora Kalff). First, we will meet online on Thursday evening, March 6, 2025 via Zoom to prepare for our time together. Then we will meet in-person Saturday and Sunday, March 8-9, 2025 to get our hands in the sand, develop community, and learn how to conduct a sandplay session. Next, we will meet monthly on three Thursday evenings (two-hour virtual sessions). By completing this course, participants will meet requirements for sandplay fundamentals to apply toward credentialing as a sandplay therapist through STA/ISST.
This program will be offered at a LOW COST (only $75 for 18 CEʻs) to participants in hopes of stimulating sandplay practice on the island of Kauaʻi and throughout the Hawaiʻi. Thank you STH and the YWCA of Kauaʻi for making this training possible!
Registration will open soon with priority to therapists practicing in Hawaiʻi, but open to all!
