If you are interested in integrating sandplay therapy into your practice, please join us!  This course will provide you with the core skills necessary to begin practicing sandplay, as you continue your training process.

Foundations of Jungian Sandplay Therapy provides the theoretical foundations, ethical practical applications, and neuropsychological underpinnings of Jungian Sandplay Therapy with children and adults. Through participation in lecture/discussion, compelling case studies, and experiential activities you will prepare for sandplay practice with diverse clients and connect on a deep level to this work. Experiential activities will include embodied personal symbol study, exploration of Jungian personality structures in your psyche, expressive art projects, and writing/journaling.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the three roots, key tenets, and evidence base of Jungian Sandplay Therapy and distinguish this approach from other methods that use sand and miniatures.
  2. Assess how play, symbolic language, and the “free and protected space” of Sandplay Therapy promote psychological development in children and adults.
  3. Develop essential skills to set up a sandplay collection and to conduct a sandplay therapy session.
  4. Describe guidelines for culturally sustaining ethical practice and professional development of sandplay therapists in clinical practice.

Registration will open in August, 2026.  More information here.
