Aloha! Come to the island where the goddess, Pele reigns. Explore the transformative power of the elements in sandplay therapy while immersed in Hawaiian culture, mythology, and the natural beauty of the Big Island. Participation in this intensive is a wonderful way to make new friends in sandplay and to deeply connect to Hawaii before the ISST International Congress begins.

Program/Schedule: 2017 Elements Intensive Schedule
Location: The intensive will take place at the intimate Wainaku Executive Center. 26-238 Hawaii Belt Road, Hilo, Hawaii, 96720. Note: This is the opposite side of the island than the ISST Congress; therefore, you will need accommodations on Hilo side while you are attending the intensive.
Transportation: You are responsible for transportation to and from the conference venue. We will have volunteers to help arrange car pooling for those who are interested. The Wainaku Executive Center is located just one mile north of downtown Hilo along the historic Hamakua coastline. It is less than three miles (7 minute drive) from the Castle Hilo Hawaiian Hotel where we have a special conference rate. It is about 12 minutes drive from the Hilo International Airport.
Note: We chartered a bus for the group excursions; this cost is included in your registration fee.
Accommodations: It is recommended that you stay at a local Bed and Breakfast or at the Castle Hilo Hawaiian Hotel http://www.castleresorts.com/Home/accommodations/hilo-Hawaiian-hotel where we have a special rate.

Registration fees includes sandplay workshops, meals, entertainment, Hawaiian cultural events, and guided tours to Orchid Gardens, Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, and Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. Registration also includes 12 continuing education hours (CEs) sponsored by Pacific Quest. Pacific Quest is approved by the American Psychological Association to provide continuing education for psychologists.
