Observing how a child or adult engages with sand and miniatures in sandplay therapy may provide valuable information about neurodevelopment and psychological needs. In this lecture, Dr. Lorraine Freedle, pediatric neuropsychologist and sandplay teacher (STA/ISST) will introduce the Neuropsychology of Sandplay Therapy (Freedle, 2017) and explore sandplay therapy through the conceptual framework of Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics® (NMT) (Freedle, 2019).
